Annihilation

Okay. So I just watched Alex Garland's latest movie "Annihilation" this afternoon. I really enjoyed it, though I can't necessarily explain it. It's funny how that works, isn't it.

There are lot's of things I can't really explain, but I do like. Things such as:

• Twinkling Stars
• Digital Cameras
• Wi-Fi

Anyway, I suppose what I liked about Annihilation were just that it wasn't the traditional Sci-Fi story. Nothing was really answered.

I'm thinking now about what my favorite movies are and here they are in no specific order.

• The Thin Red Line
• The Fountain
• Forrest Gump
• Easy Rider
• Badlands
• Ondine
• There Will Be Blood

Funny thing is, I haven't watched any of these movies in the last 5 years. I know there are a number of other movies I'm forgetting as well, but that's just the way it is. Maybe I don't like those other movies as much as I thought I did. I don't know really. These were the first few that came to me.
